Sample of After School
Through all seasons, PUDDLESTOMPERS programs engage children in nature discovery.  Our lesson topics span all seasons and are designed to highlight the ongoing cycles of nature.
PUDDLESTOMPERS’ after school programming for K-2nd graders is known as OUTDOOR EXPLORERS. Our active and fun learning programs connect children in K-2nd grade to nature in all four seasons by using hands-on exploration, games, songs, crafts, and stories.
Each of our nearly 100 programs focuses on a simple and accessible lesson topic, tailored to the developmental needs of the children. Many of our topics and materials connect to early elementary school curriculums for science and natural history.
Seasonal Sample Topics Include:
Squirrels      Trees      Hibernation      Ants      Migration
Seed Growth      Birds of Prey      Mud and Soil      Flowers
Weather      Animal Homes      Grass      Bark
Evergreens      Foxes      Ladybugs      Ducks & Geese
And many more!
After school programs typically run for 1 hour.  Our programs can be held exclusively outdoors or can be designed to use an indoor space as well, depending upon the available outdoor space.

As science specialists, we engage and foster the vibrant curiosity of young children for the natural world.  Our lessons not only reinforce what children may be learning about in school, but they provide even more opportunities to learn about and engage with the natural world.
