Weekly Child/Adult
Class Information

About

This 6 or 8 week course provides a foundation for future outdoor learning and exploration.  Offered year-round, every season provides new times, topics, and exploration opportunities.  Get to know your teacher and meet new friends from your community while facilitating an appreciation for the nature in your town.  Each week we explore a new topic relating to the current season while building off of the topics learned in previous weeks. Activities include a combination of hands-on exploration, games related to the day's theme, songs, stories, and a take home craft.  Classes are held at various local parks in your community and a snack is provided during each class.

FAQ

Can a younger sibling under 2 years old accompany their sibling in class? Yes! Backpack babies, up to one year old, are welcome to accompany their older siblings.

What happens in the case of inclement weather? Classes are held rain or shine! If it is raining the day of your class the teacher will contact you and move class to the indoor location.  You can also check our weather line after 8:30am the morning of your class to see if it has been moved inside; (617) 527-2000 ex.2.

Where are winter classes held? All of our classes are held at indoor locations.  We will still do outdoor exploring during winter classes regardless of weather, but will conduct lesson, snack, and story inside.

Do you allow make-up classes? Yes we do! With a variety of Child/Adult classes happening throughout five towns, there are plenty of classes for you and your child to attend if you miss a class.  Please be sure to let your teacher know so they can help you schedule a make-up.
